A living city
A city to call home
A place with a range of housing options, amenities, access to public spaces, health, transport, education, shops and community services.
Our University City of the Future will have a diverse mix of housing, from apartments and townhouses to homes, that will cater for our local community and will all be set within a natural landscape. We're already committed, constructing a new 624-bed student accommodation facility on site - the first of many accommodation precincts planned for Bundoora.
Our city will also be a place of wellbeing. Our new Health and Wellbeing Hub includes La Trobe Private Hospital and the La Trobe Medical Centre, and will include a primary and allied health care centre as well as new allied health clinics for the general public, and an aged care facility.
Our $150 million Sports Park is home to teaching, research, community participation, and elite sports, and our series of local mixed-use neighbourhoods will include multiple cafes and retail hubs to foster a vibrant and inclusive lifestyle culture that caters to all generations.
