Getting to Uni by train and bike
Bikes can be carried free of charge on just about any train in Victoria, including all metropolitan and V/Line services.
The combination of bike and train travel can help you access most areas of Melbourne. It's a faster way to use public transport, as it removes the need for long walks and infrequent buses.
Note: On metropolitan services, cyclists should not use the first door of the first carriage as these areas are used for passengers with mobility devices such as wheelchairs.
Melbourne campus
The Melbourne campus is connected by a bike lane to Reservoir Station (a 15 minute cycle) and a path to Macleod Station (a 10 minute cycle).
Bendigo campus
