Flexible study options

Discover ways to keep your study, work and home life balanced.

We understand that postgraduate study is important to get you where you really want to be, so we've built flexible study options to support you in finding the perfect balance.

Many of our courses allow you to study full time or part time1. Through our StudyFlex program, you can study online, or on campus at one of our many metro and regional campuses.

Evening classes or intensive ‘block learning’ is available in many courses. We also have subjects that incorporate online video streams that allow you to participate from home or work.

If your personal circumstances change, you can exit early. Most of our Master's programs let you graduate with a graduate certificate or diploma if you've completed the minimum requirements.

Full-time and part-time study

Most postgraduate courses offer both full time and part time options.

Full-time study allows you to complete the course faster but requires a greater commitment in terms of contact hours and study.

Part-time study reduces the number of contact hours per semester. You have the option to complete your degree at a pace that leaves more time for work or other commitments.

Study on campus

With seven campuses to choose from across Victoria and New South Wales, the choice is yours.

Study in the heart of Melbourne. Featuring state-of-the-art learning facilities, our City Campus is suited to people who work or live near the CBD. Find out more about our City Campus.

Our Melbourne Campus is one of Australia’s largest. It’s situated in Melbourne’s north and is easily reached by public transport or car. Find out more about our Melbourne Campus.

We’re also Victoria’s largest regional university, with campuses in Albury-Wodonga, Bendigo, Mildura and Shepparton. Find out more about our regional campuses.
