School of Education partnerships
The School of Education partners with schools, communities and governments to provide the best professional experiences, policy advice and research.
Together, we are transforming educational practice and how students learn through evidence-based teaching and research.
Education partnerships
The School of Education partners with schools, early learning centres, Outdoor Education organisations, and education systems in Victoria and across Australia, to ensure our graduates have the skills they need to transform the sector and improve outcomes for all learners.
Our courses are designed in partnership with expert teachers and educational leaders, who share our passion for developing a quality future teaching profession.
Through placement, our students are connected to professional and social learning communities, supporting them to build the networks they will need to enter the workforce.
We have a physical presence at all partner locations. This allows us to be embedded in education settings, ensuring that students are exposed to real world experiences and evidence-based approaches to quality teaching.
Our partner schools include Hazel Glen College, Ivanhoe Grammar, Parade College, Plenty Valley Christian College, Marymede Catholic College, Mernda Central College, Mildura Senior Secondary, Marist Catholic College Bendigo, to name a few.
Our Nexus program and Science of Language and Reading (SOLAR) Lab schools include Wodonga Senior Secondary, Greater Shepparton College, Elevation College, Roxburgh College, Upper Yarra Secondary College, Red Cliffs Secondary College, Charles La Trobe College P-12, Kalianna School, Epson Primary School, Billanook Primary School and East Loddon P-12.
Our Early Childhood Education partnerships are strongly linked to The Front Project and G8 Education, who play a significant role in supporting our students on placement.
Our Outdoor Education and Sustainability partners work with us to provide industry experience for students in the Bachelor of Outdoor and Sustainability Education program (a new program as of 2022) to increase field safety expertise and provide employment opportunities in a range of outdoor industry settings. Our partners include Survive First Aid, Paddle Australia, Outdoors Victoria and Outdoor Education Australia.
Government and research partnerships
The School of Education’s outstanding researchers partner with industry, government and communities to build knowledge and improve education outcomes across the sector.

We also partner on specialist postgraduate, professional development and higher degree programs for the profession. Our distinctive industry PhD program delivers high impact research to schools and outcomes that will benefit the wider education sector.
We have sector-leading agreements with the High Achieving Teachers Program, supported by the Australian Government, and the Victorian State Government.
And, we have outstanding research collaborations with national and international partners that align with our areas of strength.
