The teams of the Graduate Research School
The Graduate Research School (GRS) comprises three specialist teams that are dedicated to the different stages and requirements of the graduate researcher journey.
Operations team
The Operations team provides support and advice to graduate researchers and academic staff and is dedicated to the administration of all aspects of graduate research degrees during the candidature lifecycle, including:
- applications,
- enrolments,
- candidature variations,
- scholarships,
- progress,
- supervision, and
- examinations.
Research Education and Development (RED) team
The Graduate Research School's Research Education and Development (RED) team supports and assists La Trobe graduate researchers and academic staff through research training and professional development in:
- establishing quality research practices
- developing strategies for success in research publication and funding
- gaining insight into researcher career paths and industry sectors
- and practising excellent research communication skills.
The RED team is dedicated to providing a diverse, responsive, and forward-looking program.
Strategic support
We also have staff providing strategic support to the Graduate Research School and our stakeholders including in governance and policy, data analysis and reporting, and supporting our international partnerships.
