CISCO Lab & Office Refurbishment
Overview
The School of Engineering and Mathematical Sciences (SEMS) have growth targets (noted by the school to be 70% over 5 years) which required additional space to be allocated and prepared for use.
Project Status
The project was completed at the end of July 2018, ready for day 1 of Semester 2.
Benefits
Creation of this new space:
- Caters for growth of courses and student numbers
- Improves the teaching and learning environment
- Provides technology to support and enable delivery of high quality experience for students
- Locates the CISCO Lab in close proximity to academic offices, as well as, rooms occupied by PHD students
Design Features
The CISCO labs are also used for School visits and have been reconfigured to also better suit Cyber‐game events in collaboration with Quantum Victoria.
