Get ready to witness some serious pitching – and prize money!
Join us for the PitchFest: Showcase where aspiring student entrepreneurs compete, 'Shark Tank' style, for a share of $30,000 in seed funding.
You will also hear from advanced startups taking part in The Big Leap program – a partnership between La Trobe University, Arrow Digital and the Federal Government to accelerate Australian startups to scale in India. Connect with Big Leap entrepreneurs sharing their insights about going global!
As part of festivities, rub shoulders with our expert judging panel, industry partners, inspiring alumni and members of our successful entrepreneur community.

Top students will take the stage for a 'Shark Tank' style competition with up to $30,000 prize money up for grabs.
As well as seeing student entrepreneurs in action (it wouldn’t be PitchFest without the pitching!) guests will enjoy great entertainment and networking opportunities.

- A student dance troupe will wow the crowd with a Bollywood dance set
- Q&A panel with the brightest minds from The Big Leap
- Student entrepreneurs pitch their ideas to entrepreneurial leaders in a bid to take home a cut of the $30,000 prize pool
- Networking opportunity with industry partners, alumni entrepreneurs, and the wider La Trobe and start-up network.
