Support The Suicide Response Project
Thank you for considering a donation to The Suicide Response Project at La Trobe University.
Suicide is the leading cause of death in Australians aged 15-44 and 3rd leading cause of death for those aged 45 and older.
Most people who die by suicide do not seek professional help, but instead reach out to family and friends. However, many studies show that people lack the confidence and skills to respond when someone they know is at risk.
With your support, we will educate the community on how to detect and respond to suicide risk in others, through accessible and freely available educational materials delivered online.
Please note that donations over $2 are tax deductible in Australia, with 100% of your donation going directly to support Dr Carina Chan and Dr Karien Hill's research.
Donors who give $1,000 or more will be invited to join La Trobe University’s Chancellor’s Circle.
Donations are made to a broad research purpose with no reciprocal expectation of material benefits or advantage such as research deliverables and reporting except for recognition of the donor and the expenditure of the money in accordance with the donor’s wishes.
