Probably the best thing about smaller classes is the way you can connect to teachers; it’s based around your learning. It’s easy to ask questions and connect with other students in the class. It's a great feeling at Albury-Wodonga as you're usually friends with people in your class who you can then socialise with outside of uni.

I moved from Griffith (NSW) to attend uni here. I wish people knew how welcoming and lovely the community is here at La Trobe. I was apprehensive before coming to uni as I didn’t know what it’d be like however I’ve had a positive experience with the people – everyone is willing to help out. I wish people knew how rich the experience of studying at a regional campus can be. There is a tight-knit community here, an aspect which can often be absent at metro campuses.
