The score is a 12-point jump from the University’s 2018 ranking of 46, and makes La Trobe third in Australia.
La Trobe MBA program director Dr Geraldine Kennett said the result reflected an ongoing focus on adjusting the program and its online delivery mechanisms.
“Over the last year we refreshed the whole MBA including the online MBA. We’ve improved our alignment with industry through our partners. We’ve also made the program more appealing, engaging and flexible for our online students.
“It’s no longer about sitting at home, learning on your own. At La Trobe you can dip in and out of classroom lessons, attend annual overseas study tours, or join group discussions remotely,” Dr Kennett said.
