Children at the Centre was the 2025 Child Inclusive Practice (CIP) Forum theme, held in Canberra and hosted by Family & Relationship Services Australia.
The CIP Forum brings together mediators, social workers, psychologists and counsellors who work to keep children's best interests at the forefront of Family Dispute Resolution and allied child and family services.
Our Director, Prof. Jennifer McIntosh, was an invited keynote speaker. Her presentation was on 'Transgenerational healing: Infant-led family therapy' and included the launch of our new MERTIL for My Family resource. This short, animated video, narrated beautifully by a young child, is a message from a child to their parent about the importance of trust in the early years.
