Congratulations to our newest nursing graduates in Mauritius!
Eighty-three students recently celebrated the completion of their Bachelor of Nursing (Post-Registration) degrees as part of La Trobe University’s partnership with Polytechnics Mauritius.
Gulzar Malik, Associate Dean of International Partnerships in La Trobe’s School of Nursing and Midwifery, said the partnership aims to transform the lives of Mauritian nurses by providing opportunities to upskill and progress their careers.
“Our degree has expanded nurses’ horizons, enabling them to advance their professional practice and evidence-based knowledge to make a positive impact on healthcare delivery in Mauritius.”
“Congratulations to our newest graduates in Mauritius. We couldn't be prouder to welcome you into the La Trobe family!”
Associate Professor Malik was joined by Ms Naveena Ramyad, the Mauritian Minister of Industrial Development, SMEs and Cooperatives, who advised the new graduates to be 'bold, agile and flexible' to tap into the opportunities that lie ahead of them.
