Employability | Access a wide range of careers and employability services, programs and resources on the Career Hub including our newest resource, Career Ready Assist. Use Career Ready Assist for an AI resume review and mock interview practice. View current career opportunities on the Career Hub Jobs Board, as well as Employer Connect, and Careers Directory and remember to view our Career Ready Essentials recorded webinars, covering tips to improve your LinkedIn profile, resume, cover letter, and interview skills. Indigenous Student Services | If you need assistance during the break you can still contact Indigenous Student Services by emailing Indigenous_studentservices@latrobe.edu.au. Melbourne (Bundoora) Campus students will continue to have 24 hour access to the Ngarn-gi Bagora Indigenous Centre (Room 228, Level 2, Agora East Building). |
International Student Support | International Student Support Helpline If you are an international student and need urgent assistance after-hours (at night, on the weekends, or while the University is closed), please call our dedicated phone helpline: If you’re in Australia: call 1800 758 360. Calls are free from landlines, but standard call rates apply from mobile phones. Important: Call 000 if you need emergency Police, Fire or Ambulance services If you’re outside Australia, call +61 2 8905 0325 It is helpful to have your student ID number ready when calling the helpline. For general student enquiries, please refer to the ASK La Trobe service information. Appointments with International Student Advisors will be available from Wednesday 2 January 2025. |
Graduate Research School | The Graduate Research School (GRS) will be closed from 23 December 2024, and will reopen on Thursday 2 January 2025. Staff will not be available during this time. Graduate researchers can still access their candidature and scholarship details, candidature variation forms, milestone dates and forms online, via StudentOnLine however there will be no support for forms during this time. Help guides are available. If you are waiting for an outcome to a scholarship application, we’ll get back to you by early January 2025. If you are planning on submitting your thesis for examination over the break, please review information about the examination process and ensure that you complete your Authority to Submit and send this to your supervisor for approval as soon as possible so you can be issued the link to submit before the break. Although you can submit your thesis over the close down period, there will be no support. Zoom online drop in sessions will not be available during the closure period, and will recommence on Thursday 2 January 2025. GRS will be back in the HelpZone in the Library from 18 February 2025. |

Library Learning Services/Pathfinder | Check out Library Learning Services’ Pathfinder, a single place in the LMS to find eLearning tools across La Trobe University. You can access self-paced learning activities when it suits you and from wherever you are. The Learning Hub Online brings together resources like Studiosity and Discipline Hubs, along with specially designed resources. |

Student IT Support | Student IT Support will be available on the 24 December from 9 am – 4 pm and 27, 30 & 31 December from 10 am – 4 pm via phone and LiveChat. The ASK IT portal is available 24/7. Student IT Support will resume normal services on Thursday 2 January. There’s also a range of resources available online via the Student IT Support page. |
