If you have elective availability and are interested in undertaking a placement as part of your degree, you have two options:
- Find your own placement
- Apply for an advertised university-sourced placement opportunity

The HLT43021 Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance program delivered by Exercise Research Australia is a nationally recognised qualification that, upon satisfactory completion, can be used to apply for paid work while completing your undergraduate degree.
La Trobe first and second-year students who join the Allied Health Assistant (AHA) program will secure 120 hours of industry placement in 2025, which has been approved for enrolment in La Trobe’s 15 credit-point elective – LTU3IND. Find out more
