This year marks the 40th anniversary of Moat Festival, the longest running University Arts and Theatre festival in Australia.
Moat Festival is a celebration of arts, culture and creativity, allowing students to share their skills and passion for the arts with the wider community. The festival was launched in 1984 by then Vice-Chancellor John F Scott, with the vision of bringing community and students together in the celebration of performing arts.
To commemorate, the Library and University Archives, in partnership with the La Trobe Student Clubs team, are hosting the Un-archived: 40 Years of Moat exhibition, honouring four decades of incredible creativity and performance at La Trobe University.
