Why do you think being career ready is important: Being career ready prepares you for a future beyond university studies. It involves learning new concepts whilst building on your existing skills, knowledge and attitudes. This learning prepares you for long-term success in the professional industry. Taking your time to become career ready is an exciting and worthwhile opportunity to embark on during your studies to enable you to enter to professional world with confidence!

Your experience being a student at La Trobe: My time at La Trobe has provided me with a rewarding experience both academically and personally. Taking advantage of the resources and experiences La Trobe offers has given me experience that I can leverage on in everyday life as well as professionally. Your experience being a student at Latrobe: My experience at La Trobe has been enriching and transformative. The wonderful campus community, diverse support programs and services (like the Career Ready program wink*) have provided me with the chance to continuously grow both personally and professionally. Overall, my time at La Trobe has been invaluable, shaping me into a confident and capable individual.

Why do you think being career ready is important: Something that we all know is how competitive and challenging the job market is presently. The job market is ever evolving and despite academic prowess, students struggle to satisfy the necessary skills of the job market. Thus, being career ready is absolutely important because it prepares you towards the needs of the job market. Personally, being career ready to me signifies understanding your skillset and best suiting it to the job that you market and knowing where you want to see yourself and doing what you love following the completion of your studies!

Your experience being a student at La Trobe: Taking a look at my experience, I can guarantee that La Trobe University has certainly helped me grow academically and professionally. From countless internship opportunities like being a Blue Security Intern at the ASEAN-Australia Summit 2024 to being an Intern at the Parliament of Victoria have been possible courtesy of La Trobe’s internship opportunities. As someone that desires to push himself day in and day out, La Trobe has provided me with that window to come forward and be the best version of myself!
