Cisco MentorMe program for women in IT

MentorMe is an innovative program at Cisco for women studying engineering, information technology, business, finance, economics, accounting, law – or just passionate about technology!

The Program aims to inspire, motivate and educate women about IT opportunities and personal development. You can also claim the program as practical experience for your Career Ready Advantage Award!

What’s involved?

Cisco’s MentorMe program for 2024 will run from Thursday 22 August – Thursday 17 October 2024.

You must be an undergraduate student interested in building a career within the IT industry.

You will be paired with a mentor and attend virtual weekly meetings where you can shadow, build on existing skills and learn about the various career pathways in IT, many of which are new.

You must be able to commit to two hours every Thursday from 12 pm to 2 pm AEST to attend virtual and/or in-person sessions during the nine-week program. The program will run as a hybrid model with sessions held in-person, as well as virtually, through the video collaboration tool, Webex. You will also need to be available for at least 30 minutes each week for a mentoring session.

By the end of the program, you will have developed an understanding of the skills, knowledge and confidence needed to take the next step in your career, no matter what path you choose!

Apply online for your chance at this unique opportunity. Applications close on 19 July 2024.
